You’re Love Feels Foreign

Noted Nest

By Hiya Ranka

The tingle down my spine this time

Feels more foreign than new

It feels more natural than forced

As my eyes stare at the moon

And my light brightens up your night

I catch your graze from the side

It feels foreign

Nobody has looked at me that way

I have been loved before

So this catches me off guard

The tingles all over me

Feel like dragonflies and not butterflies

As time flied

You replaced all my lovers

And it’s like I didn’t know what love was like all along

You’re love feels foreign
