Womanhood

By Khushi Gupta

Introduction:

Being birthed from the collapsion of starlight and ash

She burned in shades of the most enticing embers.

WOMANHOOD

She aged in multiple shades of sweet ivory

She aged like a beautiful tree

She aged like the finest of wines

She aged like the bluest seas

She aged like a soft breeze

Skin drunken on succorance

She aged with glee

Perpetually free

She aged how a warrior would age.

Fierce in everything.

Her vigour shall never fade

Womanhood is truly a comely.

An answer for which the depraved conspicuously prayed.
