Winter is on my tongue,
A bittersweet taste it brings,
Memories of lingering snow,
And the cold that stings.
A season of both beauty and pain,
A time of change and reflection,
Where the world is stripped bare,
And we're left with introspection.
The air is crisp and sharp,
Like a knife against my skin,
But it reminds me to be present,
To feel the frost within.
Winter is a reminder,
That life is not all sunshine,
That even in the darkest times,
There's still a glimmer of divine.
Through the barren trees,
And the frozen ground,
There's a quiet strength,
That winter has found.
It's a time to slow down,
And appreciate what's true,
For in the stillness of winter,
We discover something new.
So as I taste the cold,
On the tip of my tongue,
I embrace the lessons of winter,
And all the growth it's brung.
For just like the seasons,
Our lives are ever-changing,
And it's in the depths of winter,
That we find the most enlightening.
So embrace the cold on your tongue,
And all the feelings it may bring,
For winter is a reminder,
Of the beauty in everything.
