"Watercolour Skies"

By Anushree Das

The colour fills the horizon

Orange, yellow, pink

The cold air of the season

That really makes you think

How does it get it’s colour?

Maybe a canvas is it’s muse

From the artists’ strokes multicolour

The sky fills with hues

The sun can be accounted

The great light tinting the sky

For when it isn’t clouded

The sky fills with its dye

Oh what an inspiration it can be!

An example of nature’s beauty

Just sit down with a cup of tea,

It’s a watercolour sky truly!
