Volcanoes

Noted Nest

By Sanyuktha

And if volcanoes had feelings just like humans

Beneath the Earth resides its heart

Creating sights that are pure chaos

Desolated it is, none to love and be loved

Explosions fierce, a fearsome sight

Fiery peaks command the sky

Give it a spark receive an explosion

How much can a heart hold?

Is it all intentional? Does it want to harm us?

Just the nature's way of showcasing its emptiness

Kip is something temporary for dormants, permanent for extincts

Lieu it just waits to be heavy until it can cry

Mankind humbled in awe we stare

Not everything that explodes is a menace, for they have a fragile heart

Old at age, young at soul

Peace within, storms outside

Qualms about itself unable to know its worth

Reminding us about the earth's volatile face

Should we guess, they feel the sight of spring?

The world yearns to hear the laughter in its tales

Under the sky, above the underworld

Volcanoes breathe alive with grace

We are all broken for light to enter and sorrow to leave

Xenoliths are like emotions, trapped inside volcanoes

Yelps the volcanoes, no one to help

Zones out of loneliness until it explodes

(Look at the first letter of each line)
