In the land of textbooks and endless lectures,
Where coffee is currency and sleep’s just a conjecture,
In university halls, where dreams take flight,
We navigate the chaos of student life.
Lectures drone on like a lullaby of despair,
While we scribble notes with a vacant stare.
Professors pontificate in a language arcane,
That leaves us wondering if we're still sane.
Campus food, a culinary delight,
Paneer so rubbery, it puts up a fight.
Dal so watery, it could float a boat,
Chapattis like frisbees that could cut your throat.
Wi-Fi that's slower than a bullock cart,
Downloading notes becomes an art.
Assignments stack up, papers to write,
No rest for the weary, weekends giving no respite.
The alarm clock screams, a morning blare,
But the bed's embrace, oh so rare.
Lectures missed, projects due,
Procrastination's curse, we all rue.
Late-night cramming, fueled by caffeine,
As deadlines loom, a constant scene.
Bleary-eyed and brain fried,
In the race for placements, we abide.
Exams approach, the panic sets in,
Notes scattered, where do we begin?
Coffee and Google, our study plan,
Offerings to the gods, an instant sham.
Chasing the bus with a sprint so frantic,
A daily routine, almost romantic.
The bus just about pulls off, luck running thin,
As we pant and puff, trying to squeeze in.
Oh, but the hostel life, a whole other story.
Bathroom queues show the eighth wonder in all its glory.
With rooms cramped, ventilation’s a joke, air barely flows,
Rules galore, and privacy lost in the throes.
The kitchen’s a battleground, a sight to behold,
As culinary disasters unfold.
Burnt food and a few almost-fires,
Late-night Maggi, our gourmet decree inspires.
Yet amidst the chaos, friendships bloom,
In shared laughter and tales of gloom.
Late-night chai and dreams of the future in the air,
United by talks of food, sleep, and all things unfair.
So here's to the university, where memories are made,
In the trials and triumphs of the college brigade.
For we’ll forever cherish the bonds wrought,
In unity and laughter, lessons taught.
