Train Journey

Noted Nest

By Madiraju Anagha Devi

No smartphones,

No social media.

Parents busy with coffees,

Us munching toffees.

Enjoying new story books,

While being enamored by moving nature's looks.

Asking our peers their names,

After knowing, playing games.

As the journey proceeded, the fun continued,

The moon following us, leaving us confused.

Tired, berth was the best bed,

Us, keeping this train journey alive in our head.

The journey ended, sad to say goodbye to train,

This journey recorded, not in videocam, but my brain.

The heart was filled with joy,

More train journeys to come, more to enjoy.
