The World I Dream of

By Fatheena

The World I Dream of

As I walk past through the woods of illusion and figment of imagination,

My mind wanders around the thoughts that pose a state of sedation.

Assuming that the world is a property of mine,

To establish my dream in a land which is divine.

Land of my dream is simple to discern,

Yet the act of it post a major concern.

A land where man knows his name,

To acquire dreams and not just fame.

Living in a world of race and haste,

With an intention not to be chased.

In a land where the nature is free and green,

In a land where tolerance is appreciated with genuine mean.

l intend a land of mercy and conscience, where every act is seen in a lens of innocence.

The sight of a man fed from his wife's breast can be seen as an act of lust,

In the eyes of humanity, it’s an act of desperation to save the death of her mate through the means of rust.

What we see is not what we intend, Eyes speak but mind comprehend.

In a land of dreams where selfish is not my option,

Yet I desire for it in an altruistic notion.

Let the land live in an open road,

Let the people desire for a tree with deep roots and a river of a smooth flow.

Let humanity persists in our construal,

To define the acts as a social accrual.

Let's hear the hearts for a change,

As it beats its drums of concern every stage.

Let’s give the feelings a chance to express,

To get past the road of progress and distress.

Let's be ourselves, a body with myriad of emotions.

The dream I carry weighs my shoulder,

As I resist it to go colder.

Beauty of heart is in the dream we carry,

Why not make the world beautiful through the action of contemporary!
