The Virgin Curd

Updated: May 2

The Virgin Curd

Smooth as silk and pure as milk,

Is the fresh set curd I sit to eat!

Tasty and filling each time,

This virgin curd is made to fill my mind.

We do not just eat for our tummy, you know…

Our mind gives us the pleasure divine!

Satiety or hunger both controlled,

My tongue and brain both combined!

Oh! What a sight! The white in a bowl!

Melting my heart in desire!

One spoonful after another,

Gone in seconds, not a matter!

For I shall wait for a other serving,

Until the waiter is hot and scorning!

“Sir, you shall get only one! No more”!

With a heavy heart, I depart.

Oh! How can I leave?

My heart clings to the curd on other tables!

What Divine power is the taste!

Yet I cannot have another!

“It’s like a wife” he said!

One in a lifetime then life-bound!

Lusting after another but no use,

It’s the brain playing games on you!

I try at home, this recipe for my soul,

If I succeed, a business well run!

Millions I will capture,

By their hearts and tongue!

None shall I send back without a second serve,

Minting money from their desires is my goal!

How sinless is a bowl of curd?

You shall eat and then devour!

Oh my love! My darling curd!

Come to me and fill my heart!

My head is full and cannot control,

Let me eat and fill my soul!

Once I’m done,

I sleep like a baby!

Smiling to myself,

I did a good job!

If it were a job, I would accept!

Tasting curd each time it sets!

Rousing it from the slumber deep,

Pouring it half after half I eat!

My eyes get heavy,

I sleep on my bed..

But the yummy remains in my sweet head,

I shall return to my love tomorrow!
