The Vagabond Kite

Updated: May 2

By Sumita Laha

I am the vagabond kite

Who flies in her sky,

Sometimes I glide freely

And sometimes I soar high,

Against the wind of life.

A sense of joy and pride

And accomplishment

Washes over me

As I travel across the bluest sky,

In the splendour of the Sun.

I travel far and wide

I am a vagabond kite.
