The Unspoken Bond

Noted Nest

By Vaishnavi Mandhadapu

A wish, a boon, stands before us,

Are there any more dreams left for you to see?

A path appears, inviting me forward,

I stand there, gazing, ready to open doors.

Are you hesitant, like a delicate butterfly,

Afraid of what’s to come?

If you step forward, will you stumble,

Or stride ahead with confidence?

Don’t look back or hesitate,

Will you fall if you take a step?

What you show me is a treasure,

Guiding me with a faint gleam.

In you... with you...

This game of hide and seek.

You’ve captured yourself...

In this mysterious trap.

This playful tug of war...

Our bond thrives unspoken.

Let’s not overthink,

It’s all just fine.

Through gestures that spark,

Friendship cannot be won.

Victory lies in the warmth,

Of hearts meeting as one.

Is it true... or is it not?

Yet, it feels so real.
