The Mundane World

Noted Nest

By Ananya Bansal

How Insignificant

the mundane world is

The echo of their cacophony,

dreams held tight in their iris

With their mere sight

claiming to have the right

over everything uncharted

When the world had itself parted

they had trotted, all the whilst

remaining in ignorance

Mortal!! you forget your stance

mistake inferiority as superiority

"Dream Big" they say

"Think Out of The Box" they say

When a sphere of bubble is where they stay

Their span ending in the blink of an eye

Their essence dissolving in their cry
