He felt some kind of way when he looked at her,
She was his only home in this monstrous world,
She was the only one he could be weak in front of,
He could—weep in front of,
She was the only one who could quiet the clamouring devils inside him,
She was the one who saw the little humanity left in his abhorrent self.
And yet, he left her, all broken and soar..
Maybe it was for her own good, she felt,
But how could she even forget him when she had his name and his words engraved in her mind..
"You're too sane to understand but I won't let me ruin you"
