Lie to yourself for a day,
For lies are easier to find their way.
The scars are probably more in your mind,
Finding their way to your beautiful smile!
Obnoxious it must have been,
Your soul, to absolutely demean.
Walk out abrupt,
If their sudden gaze,
Crossing your maze,
Compel you to oppose your dream,
Life, does it even mean?
Not every ending needs a closure,
If happiness is on the measure.
For if it feeds your soul,
It doesn’t have to align with your role!
Lie to yourself for a day,
For all you know,
It's the ultimate truth,
To avoid keeping at bay.
