The Memories That Haunt Me.

Noted Nest

By Aarushi Somani

You never know as the merriest of memories slip past the grasp of your mind, Leaving you with remnants of what was once one of a kind;

You never know as they fade away,

Slowly leaving you day by day;

Some memories may act as your comfort,

While some may just destroy you, stranded and hurt.

Alas, memories were once something meant to be treasured, But all they do now is leave your heart endangered.

Yet I'm left wondering, will they just all eventually wither?
