Shadows and Stardust: A Tale of Unyielding Dreams

By Marisha

Recalling a translucent journey to success,

unfurling the bigger picture where dream  took flight.

A girl stood amidst shadows, seeking a  glimmer of hope, a guiding light.

Unhealthy peer pressure’s grip, like a  tempest’s embrace,

Threatened to extinguish her unique grace.

Somewhere within her soul, a fire burnt  bright,

Igniting a spirit, determined to fight. She stood tall defying the odds, come what  may,

She chased apprehensions with resilience,  to slay.

She yearned to soar to fulfill her dreams, To liberate herself from the chains of  societal schemes.

Yet, family expectations weigh over her  heart,

Bound her wings, tearing her dreams apart. Unconventional morality and rules to abide, Endured discontent when she was forced to  leave her passion beside.

She hesitated, faltered, but deep inside, A flicker of courage, she couldn’t hide.

With every setback, she found strength  anew,

A phoenix rising from ashes, bold and true.

For it’s not just the world that held her  back ,

But the fear of failure and the strength she  lacked.

Through the labyrinth of doubts, she found  a way,

To silence the noise, to seize the day. With perseverance as her armour, she took  her stand.

Worshipping obstructions with

benevolence, she reached for the grand.

She didn’t concede so she could lead her  dreams in real.

Conquering fears, keeping her ambition  crystal clear.

She fought the adversity of failure and  vanquished her frailty,

She hustled until she turned her vision to  reality.

Winding up her talent as an anthem of  hope,

A testament to the dreams we must elope. For it’s not just the external walls we face, But the inner battles we must embrace.
