"At night when I lay in bed,
As I drift towards my sleep,
When the eve becomes shadowy red,
My slumber has begun deep."
Dream becomes my bride,
We sail across the ocean of my fantasy.
Night blankets hopeless tides,
Darkness reigns, yet not as dark as reality.
Heartless sunlight scares away poor moonlight,
Cruel sun laughs, burning down my story.
My red eyes open to endless tragedy.
I still feel the ocean here, but can't see.
Gentle waves and sapphire moonlight—they call me.
Childish giggles of my bride echo around me.
My dream isn't a fantasy;
It awaits beyond the fierce tides
as a mirror of what reality can be.
