Quarantine: A Blessing in Disguise

Noted Nest

Updated: Oct 2, 2024

When days are breeding trouble

And nights screaming terror,

My heart is inditing a good matter,

My pen is of a ready writer.

Amid this long lockdown extend,

My mind runs wild to comprehend

The blessings to count and apprehend.

Now, free from hustle-and-bustle of everyday,

Having mental and physical healing, hurray!

Much of the creativity being displayed,

Singing, keyboard, and guitar outplayed.

All manners being replayed,

Family time becoming good play.

Self- discovery being portrayed,

Lots and lots of love outstay!

May this pandemic causing so much dismay,

End soon that the world be okay.

But never want to get away,

With the lessons it conveyed.

Finally, I have counted my blessings today,

That YOU have given me so much to say,

Thank you, God, again and again!
