The world's a stage for me,
Where I daily perform,
To suit the theme I be,
Everyday a different form.
The beings who surround,
Become my audience,
My aim to astound,
Recieving fine stance.
Sometimes appreciated,
Pleasures me the growth,
Sometimes hated,
I refine from both.
My dwelling the backstage,
I learn and prepare,
Performance I gague,
All the faults I repair.
Why so profound,
You may ponder,
Because the world around,
Not where I'd wander.
I turn it to opportunity,
To live as per will,
Presenting me with beauty,
Perceiving world with thrill.
Hoax you may find,
Me deceiving other,
I think of me as other kind,
I am the performer.
