One Day

By Anju Kumari

I would wake up in the morning one day with all the smiles and living energy, laughing out loud, cheering up people

with the witty words of mine.

The charm that I hold will be the key to people's happy world.

One day will surely come when nothing will sink; nothing will float, even for a second.

I will make everything fly, yes, the way reindeer fly during Christmas, fulfilling everyone's wishes.

I will too get busy hugging everyone the way the ocean hugs the shore, every time, everywhere.

I won’t defy the law of nature that time.

I will live, will live in everyone's memories.

Before that just let me go with the flow.

It's all heavy so let this body sink.

I am all cold and blue but can hear the warmth of loved one's from this bizarre pool of darkness.

Vanity of disappearance has been noted in the diary of my angels on the earth.

So now I can rest without any worry.

Let this darkness eat me just once to glow next.

But promise to exhale in my succeeding verse.

Around the lilies and willow, my favourite, you all will find the stillness but a drift too.

The place to escape from the haunting memories of living with me in the world of alive.

Let me cherish this garden with all the fleur and my igniting wine to celebrate the next door of my life.
