Four years ago
On a hazy evening,
I was yelling with pain
Looking at the white-painted wall
Of the labour room
Surrounded by doctors and nurses-
Trying hard to reduce my pain;
Just then, I heard a small voice
That was soothing for my ears.
My Daughter! The little miracle!
Has finally come to make
My feminity complete.
Every birth is a miracle
Like the spectral sunrise
On a mountain top -
Removing our blindness
Through the beautiful rays,
Infants spread light
In our life's relays!
My baby seemed like a splendor
That the seasons bring.
She is god's miracle who brings
Smile in mom's dreams.
Just like the pink flowers
That bloom on camellia tree
I bloomed with -
The joy of motherhood
In every inch of me.
Like the wind-sept dunes,
My pain vanished
With the tender smile of
My ever valuable gift!
