Maybe I Can Learn To Walk Between The Extremes

Noted Nest

By Vidyanshi Mittal

Keep a count of all of the voices,

not the ones that belong to you but

the ones they declaim to you regardless of any regard.

Maybe you will end up finding your path, or,

hatred will coerce you, and funnily

the loathing will be for yourself.

How does man manage to despise himself? Nonetheless,

cannot he step away from the distress?

Hold on,

does he want to?

He would know if he looked through the mess

rather than extrinsically—a task so tremendous

he will rather count his hurt.

Maybe, I will not make the same mistake,

and perhaps, will learn to walk between the extremes.
