Love Affair With Tea

The flavours combined together in a small cup,

swirling around the elegant browns!

I wonder what magic does it carry,

the soothing effect when it touches my throat,

lot of rhythm in a single sip I bear,

happiness and warmth adding up together.

There are no mornings and no evenings

without that special cup of tea.

Can travel long distance for just a sip it could be!

To hold the warm cup enveloped in my fingers,

thinking how refreshing I could feel with that one cup.

The pleasure enhances, if you sip it with a warm snack 

and a friend by your side,

and when the weather is pretty gloomy outside.

That cup of tea, I am in love, without which I can't stay,

may it be midnight or any part of the day.

I always crave for the warmth and swirl of the tea 

hitting my lips, gracefully having it sip after sip.

No matter what you are going through in your day,

that cup of tea will make you think all over again 

in the most positive way.

It can give you strength in all that you do,

to keep you going and finally when exhausted 

there's another cup just waiting for you.

The thrill of brewing and drinking tea is the same.

The way granules, milk, and sugar complement each other

and enhances the flavour when heated together.

Creating the essence in each second,

to make you ecstatically happy with that lovely blend!
