In the stillness of the night, she wakes,
Her heart heavy with the weight of loss,
A girl once strong, now feeling so small,
Longing for her father's guiding voice.
Her dad, a pillar, unwavering and true,
Always there to lift her spirits high,
With his presence, she conquered every fear,
But now, in his absence, she's left to cry.
Each exam, each performance, he cheered her on,
His belief in her never did sway,
But now she faces the world alone,
And darkness threatens to lead her astray.
In the silence of her sorrow, she pleads,
To a God she's not sure she believes,
"Show me a sign, a glimmer of hope,
For my shattered heart endlessly grieves."
With each passing night, sleep eludes her grasp,
Her thoughts consumed by memories dear,
And in her anguish, she searches for love,
To fill the void left by her father's absence near.
She longs for a love, strong and true,
To stand by her side as she breaks,
A beacon of light in her darkest hour,
To mend her soul, for her own sake.
So she whispers her prayers to the heavens above,
Hoping against hope for a sign,
That amidst the pain and the tears that fall,
Love will find her and help her shine.
