O this fight

between ‘to-be’

and ‘not-to-be’

only germ

in the minds and hearts 

of people

who consider themselves

a special asset to the world-

who believe in the philosophy of higher purpose;

who don’t ‘settle’ on things.

the blood in their bones

scream

revolution of some kind,

for whom Maslow’s ‘self-actualization’ is a real thing-

who are all shades of grey at their brightest.
