As beauteous as they may seem,
In all their sublime yet prosaic gleam;
Enticing the delirious mind of humankind,
That remains in its habitual dolour entwined;
And laced with woeful desolation,
Begetted by the morally barbarous civilization;
And by the supposedly insurmountable drudgery of routine,
They environ reality in a manner so serene;
They beckon to crepuscule to smother the vast expanse of Mother Earth,
And the testimony of man's deeds henceforth;
Their beguiling radiance coaxes the pysche of man thus,
He pretermits the dead of night that awaits dusk;
Sunsets, verily, are in deceitful disguise,
Stealthily sheathing trails, concealing egregious lies.
