Imperfect Poem

Noted Nest

By Sangeetha Alagiriswamy

My senses are so numb,

I feel like living in my mother’s womb.

The loneliness in which I live,

Makes me feel that I’m not alive.

Waiting for the things to change,

Even ready to give my life in exchange.

My senses are so numb,

I feel like living in my mother’s womb.

Every drudgery ends with pain,

How to gather courage again?

When I think about my inefficacy,

I  feel only the agony.

My senses are so numb,

I feel like living in my mother’s womb.
