If only I could stop those voices in your head,
I'm sure you wouldn't mind getting out of bed
If only I could keep you from losing the fight,
I know for a fact your demons won't keep you awake all night
If only you could let me in, let me care
I'm sure it won't talk back; oh, death wouldn't dare!
If only I could hear the wrenches of your heart,
I know for a fact your soul would seldom lie fathoms apart
If only I could be the melody to your song,
I'm sure you would know where you belong
If only you could let me in your walls,
I know for a fact I would cushion all your falls
If only it wasn't the darkness that you seek
I'm sure I would fill all your creeks
If only you knew you aren't a mindless automaton lost in the madness,
I'm sure I would shred your cloak of sadness
If only you knew a mere thought of you fills me with wonder and awe,
you wouldn't dread a glance in the mirror to witness the grotesque human flaw

Also, there are so many works under this username and we've only got the name of the person who wrote it. They should at least have a profile of their own which could help make engaging with their content a little easier. I also hope I haven't missed any of the other works of this writer. I took a screenshot to show my mother this one poem she wrote, we found it quite in touch with reality
My if only moment would be ‘if only I had swallowed my ego that day, things would be so different today’ if only, but ig it's too late now
If only things had worked out...
Nice work
Beautiful
