If I were a ghost
I’d explore the globe
Watching things back and forth
Trying to help children finish their pillow forts
Running after thief’s and slowing them down
Watching dusk till dawn
Watching as people work hard
While some just laze around
When some people follow their dreamsWhile some lose hope
Walking into bakery’s and smelling the amazing scents
Admiring art across galleries all around
Wandering through carnivals
Aimlessly gazing on the Ferris wheel
Spinning the teacups as fast as I can
While watching as kids laugh and yellOn the carousel spinning round’n’round
Thinking about what all I did wrong
When I decide to have some fun
I end up making children run to their mums
Watching as kids grow old
And watching as my stuff grows mold
Some picture me as a terrifying beast
But some think I have never been
They don’t realise that these thoughts may hurt me
And some respect my peace
Despite everything that goes on
The memories of my past life remain to sting
