I am me,
Born and remain free.
I am she,
The women you seldom see.
I am her,
Confident and sure,
I am her.
Equal to you sir.
Generations ago,
We did not matter.
But we became strong,
You cannot shatter.
Heartache and pain,
We always feel.
Yet we rise again,
Coz we struck a deal.
The violence against me,
Is not a must!
Your love we still see,
Why the need to break us ?
Today we are you equal,
Your society does say.
Yet it feels a sequel,
To break us another way.
Somehow, someday.
The world shall see.
I shall rise,
I shall strive.
Coz I am she,
And Iam free.
