Words can sting and leave a scar,
Breaking hearts both near and far.
They cut us deep and cause us pain,
Leaving us feeling hurt and ashamed.
We often say things we don’t mean,
Hoping our anger will redeem.
But in the end, it only brings despair,
Leaving our loved ones in disrepair.
So choose your words with care and grace,
And let love and kindness take their place.
For hurtful words can never heal,
But kindness can make broken hearts feel.
In anger. We say things we regret,
And cause wounds that we cannot forget.
But we must learn to use our tongue,
To spread love and not harm anyone.
For once spoken, words can’t be unsaid,
And the damage done can’t be unmade.
So let’s choose our words with care,
And bring kindness to all everywhere.
