Standing in an unknown mire of desire,
The world wailing for another liar,
Rulers crushed and gone, leaving their shining
empires. I asked the sky, what is the hidden treasure?
Show the cage a fire,
I asked the water what is solemn and
grief? Belief in brief, fallen leaf
Traversing around the soulful and divine,
Drugged in elixir dine at the count of
nine, Glory to God, humanity flawed,
The road leading to you, only few could
afford, I wonder why I can’t see the abode.
I couldn’t write, my words are not
enough, The afterlife, a heavy bluff.
I wish I could take a handful of sand,
With me, I left a barren land.
The Sun never owed, neither started nor departed,
What could have happened that we have parted?
The comfortable abode of fear is not so comforting,
You are nothingness, soothe my journey as you bless,
No feeding charms, only embracing arms! I compose
my love for you,
I compose my death for you,
You are not as mortal as I am!
I hear no sound, I feel no silence,
Are you the one whom I seek for guidance?
I shall not measure the depth of you,
I found no solace, I found no peace,
It is you who is not with me,
Years have gone in waiting for thee.
That day is far to come,
When I meet you in the presence of none!
