From The Ashes

Noted Nest

Updated: Oct 4, 2024

By Sushree Sunayana Mishra

How do I rise,

From ashes dark?

With wings of fire,

What sets the spark?

In midnight skies,

What lights the way?

Through endless night,

What turns to day?

When feathers fall,

And flames grow dim,

What stirs the soul,

To soar again?

What keeps the heart,

In embers warm?

What shapes the strength,

From trials born?

In silent dawn,

Who sings the sun?

Who finds the strength,

When all seems done?

What secret lies,

In endless flight?

In burning bright,

Who claims the light?

For in the blaze,

And through the pain,

Who rises then,

To live again?
