I don’t know what to feel

For now, a kaleidoscope of emotions

Rest within me

A gruesome war between

Remorse and innocence morphs

Into oblivion

As acceptance settles in

Only to be perturbed by misery

Igniting the trigger of motivation

Only to be doused again

Craving endless sleep

Driven by desire

Casted into ignorance

The cure rests beneath the layers of

My skin; patiently awaiting

As I fail to unlock the within

The feeling of incompetence overtakes

the feeling of responsibility

and once more the feud commences

between me and me

as I am suspended in the

flailing emotions, striving to be free
