In the evening under the old banyan tree, she appeared,
Dressed like a princess, his heart she steered.
He couldn't look away, his heart aflutter,
a moment so sweet of these teenager lovers.
She blushed when she saw him dressed in black,
Hand in hand, they walked in the park,
Yet she felt a twinge of fear,
Someone might see them, standing near.
She told him she had to leave, back home to go,
Though in her heart, she wanted the time to slow.
so they went for an ice cream, a simple treat,
Their first date, oh so sweet.
He wanted to drop her back home, a gesture of care,
But she refused, with a heart filled with fears.
She thanked him softly, for the evening so sweet,
Their hearts connected in a lovely beat.
Their first date, a mix of joy and fear,
A night to remember, their love sincere.
