You’re not here,
But I see you everywhere.
In the pictures we took,
In the memories we made.
I can’t fully remember,
Yet every time I see those images,
I feel it—
Deep inside,
More than it seems.
I see you in the walls of that old house,
Where we played silly, stupid games.
I see you in every shade of blue,
In those ocean-deep eyes,
Looking at me,
As if you were mine.
You’re not here,
But you’re everywhere.
I don’t recall you clearly,
But my mind plays old videos on rewind.
Who are you?
Why do you visit my dreams?
Hide in my memories,
Show up in random papers I find in my diaries?
Where are you,
If not here with me?
I don’t know your face;
I can’t place it anywhere,
Yet we share so many moments.
I can’t recall your name,
But your presence lingers.
My memories are silent,
But when I see something tied to you,
My mind whispers something familiar.
So, who are you?
