In the rains, my eyes call your name,
Yet you’re gone, leaving only the pain.
In this world, love favours the blessed,
I find myself in sorrow, a heart unconfessed.
To the divine, I bow in quiet plea,
Wishing for joy, though it’s not meant for me.
I’d trade all my dreams to forget your face,
But this heart knows no boundaries, no grace.
If fate were kind, and paths intertwined,
I’d cherish your essence, forever enshrined.
But now I linger in shadows of despair,
Your happiness matters, though you’re unaware.
So, I hold my silence, wear my disguise,
For your joy is my wish, despite these goodbyes.
Though love’s tender spark may never ignite,
In the depths of my soul, I wish you the light.
