Echoes of Resilience

Noted Nest

By S. Fouzul Hidhaya

You gave me a scar,

I drew a tattoo on it.

You threw a curse at me,

 I turned it into poetry.

You showed me anger,

and I changed it to joy.

You made me fear you,

but I used it to become brave.

You left me all alone in the dark street,

and I took the moon as my companion.

But when you dumped all your hatred on me,

did you think I would love you back?

well yes I did, because

All  the painful things that you gave ,have made me stronger than I ever was.
