“Don’t die today, the weather’s so shitty.”

You hate the rain and you hate the rain clouds,

So don’t do it today, it’s not the right time.

And don’t die on a Monday, 

you were born on a Monday only a decade and a half ago,

And you’ll have some work to do, you'll have people to talk to;

so don’t do it on a Monday.

And don’t do it on a Tuesday,

Tuesdays are so bleak, and you deserve to go in colour,

something purple or pink or bright like a yellow;

so don’t do it on a Tuesday.

And don’t do it on a Wednesday,

you get to run on Wednesdays, and play b-ball,

I’ll run with you and try my best to keep up my breath, I promise;

so don’t do it on a Wednesday.

And don’t do it on a Thursday,

you’re meeting your therapist anyway,

or it’ll be someone’s birthday, make use of it for a last time;

so don’t do it on a Thursday.

And don’t do it on a Friday,

I’ll come over and see you and we’ll dance, 

so don’t do it on a Friday.

We’ll eat good food and just by chance, 

I’ll see you at the store over the weekend,

when you’re on the brink of death and I’ll say;

“Don’t die today, the weather’s so shitty.”
