Break The Silence

Noted Nest

By Ranjana Gorakhnath Tidke

The silence speaks a lot

If you just listen hard

The defeaning thought

Echoes in the ears aloud

Each time you are not heard

The soul screams and shout

In the body helplessly caged

Struggles to come out

But beyond the physical world

The reverberation is felt

The cosmos provoked and swirled

The glaciers and the creator melt

How is this error on His part

Can a mere human live with

How wrong is a woman's heart

To deal with all this myth

So it's time to change

The rules and the conditions

New ways have to arrange

In the social administrations

Prohibition should be set for men

They can't go out without permission

They should keep  their head well down

And not to raise above again

They won't be teased in the street

Objectified or chased or stalked

Publicly they won't be laughed

Or names to them will be called

The only condition that will sustain

They will bow in front of each female

This only law for men shall pertain

And will be executed those who fail
