Will you embrace me in the darkness,
Keep me hidden under the shades of mountains,
I m feeling brave today.
The night is yet to fall,
The moon is yet to glow,
Will you guide me to your heart,
In the safety of this dark,
Before the crescent glow takes away this moment,
Our souls exposed to its mercy.
The unsaid 4 lettered word,
The forbidden air of it that we bathe in.
Will You let me count the stars in your eyes,
Before the sky dares to reflect them.
Let me devour in the presence of your casted shadow,
Taste the ephemeral freedom.
Falling for this won’t burn,
Not as much missing the flight will.
So will you let me be brave today,
As the time slips in the sand beneath.
I will graze this freedom one last taste,
For the light doesn’t scare me anymore.
This night will be lost in the essence of time,
yet will remain engraved in the creases of our minds.
So lets lay one last hour soaking in the moonglow,
For the night has just settled (in) its foot,
The walk through the desert is long.
