Autumn's Surprise

Noted Nest

By Ayushi Singh

Autumn arrives with twin surprise unfold,

Despair and hope their mystic dance untold.

The hope for brighter flight doth now ignite,

Borne on the golden light's glorious might.

The cold despair that lurks in gentle breeze

Now drifts like autumn dreams through barren

trees.

Behold the maple's golden crown descends,

As nature shows how all things sweetly end.

Yet as a brighter future beckons near,

The painful past at last shall disappear.
