A Subject You Think Should Be Made Compulsory For The Teens

As we step into this triumphant ‘Amrit Kaal of Bharat’, I wish to clear the clouds of ignorance  that shroud the minds of this great nation. A subject I deem to be essential plays a pivotal role in  this transformation. It is De-coloniality’, a perfect encapsulation of the spirit of ‘Indic  consciousness , the sense of belonging and the pride towards the millennia old unified  civilization of Bharat and not just post independent India.

The youth of this country is the torch bearer of our future. They must understand and feel the  pride that oozes out from being a part of probably the oldest civilization which is vibrantly alive!  The subject is an effort to eradicate the western mindset that puppeteers most of our minds and  manipulates every decision we make. It’s an effort to appreciate our rich tapestry of cultures  and ethnicities. It’s an effort to maximize Indian trade and promote de- dollarization. It’s an  effort to manifest the antithesis of Thomas Babington Macaulay’s vision to be Indian in taste  ,opinion ,morals, and intellect and yet be open and welcoming to perspectives , knowledge and  styles from across the world.

For its not just about our country , it’s about the brutal brainwashing of formally colonized  countries , who too have lost their indigenous roots. It’s a sword with which we must cut the  tenacious tentacles of coloniality and emerge victorious with the true identity of our nation in  every thundering heartbeat we feel. Its a tool to remold our India , our Bharat into the  superpower it has always been.
