A Song of Resilience

Noted Nest

Eyes like hawks, tracking my every sway,

The way I sit, stand, walk, talk, work, and move in the day.

They dissect my choices, scrutinize my grin,

As if my joy triggers a silent chagrin.

Why this fascination, this relentless gaze?

Their own path obscured, lost in jealousy's maze.

Do they not ponder their own life's terrain,

Or drown in the echoes of their silent disdain?

Why cling to my steps, a relentless pursuit,

When their own journey begs for resolute pursuit?

The stage of their own story gathers dust,

As they scrutinize mine, their focus unjust.

I sit with wonder, stand with conviction,

In the symphony of life, my unique depiction.

Why don't they turn inward, introspect their way,

Unlock their potential, seize their own day?

So that they may cease dwelling on every move of mine.

I never ever will bow to the storm of their disdain,

I'll rise above, break free from their chain.

Their judgements, like whispers in the wind,

In the symphony of life, their laughter's just a din.

I dance through the rain of their bitter gaze,

A rebel against conformity, breaking through the maze.

Oh, the jealous may try, but they won't define,

The rhythm of my soul, the melody that's mine.

As I sit, they dissect my every pose,

In their twisted minds, my authenticity they oppose.

But I'll embrace the uniqueness within,

For in their narrow views, my spirit will begin.

Their inferior attitudes, laughable to analyse,

In the mirror of reflection, their own flaws arise.

I'll stand tall, immune to their disdain,

In the garden of self-love, I'll bloom again.

In the canvas of life, I paint my own hue,

Against the backdrop of judgment, my colours breakthrough.

Their jealousy, a storm that will pass,

For my song of resilience will forever amass.

So let them watch, let them scrutinize,

In the theatre of life, I'll be the surprise.

For my song of self-love will forever shine,

Defying the jealous whispers, a victory so divine.
