Miseries lined up since morning,
What worse can this bad day bring,
His face all dull, his weary soul cried,
When his phone said-”Driver cancelled the ride!”
Waiting for an auto, getting fried in the sun,
Shouted-“Why is this life all trials and no fun!?”,
An auto stopped by-”Where you wanted to head?”,
“Please take me to Wing Circle”, he hurriedly said.
The auto driver was a friendly man,
Befriended the traveller in a short span,
Shared with him sorrows with a wide smile,
Made his negative thoughts swirl in a while.
The driver shared incidents of the streets,
The stories of crying eyes and dancing feets,
He had witnessed the departure and meetings,
From bringing babies home to bodies tied in strings.
On hearing these tales the traveller introspected,
We focus on the tides, the joyful winds go undetected,
Life's too short to cry on the passed events,
It's in the strands we use to spin moments!
A bump of the breaker a sudden jerk he got,
Appreciated the smooth road then be thought,
Life is like this journey where we need this sudden shakes,
To cherish the goodness that destiny bakes!
Reached his destination, thanked the driver in silence,
Understood the true essence of life's balance,
Was grateful for the miseries that let him meet life,
One end blunt, the other sharp, that makes the best knife!!
