A Hope Called Tomorrow

Noted Nest

By Priyesh Ananda Bhavan

A Hope Called Tomorrow

As the night came vehemently,

Slowly spread the darkness,

But igniting my hopes brightly,

Stitched with tags of happiness.

My mind ran with a power of thousand horses

Through the streets of life

Few bruises of memories than it causes,

From a crooned and blunted knife.

Doubts had I many, which I lingered on,

About all that male responsibility

But time had my hopes tethered on

With potion having drops of my ability

I sat on a moving train& as it passed by,

Gave an introduction to one thousand faces,

Which I may not see again as life goes by,

Amidst infinite unknown cases.

Running fast through vast stretches of land

No mind wishes to put any fence

I admired the strength of our land,

Observing through the sound of silence

Hand in hand, my country will stand,

We will have more to give than to borrow

What more can we demand

What I can't do today, my people will tomorrow.....................
