Gone are those days, when I was able to fit in my mother's lap.
Gone are those days, when I would run with nappies, around the house, like a squirrel tail was on fire.
Gone are those days, when I would feel like flying, in my father's arms.
Gone are those days, when I would crawl under my bed, in the name of tantrum.
Gone are those days, when I would sit on my father's shoulders and would feel like, I am the tallest person in the world.
Gone are those days, when I would cling to my mother's hip, like a monkey.
Gone are my toddler days.
Gone are those days when we would play with each other, without any gender.
Gone are those when the girls would play cricket, with the boys.
Gone are those days when the boys would play kitchen set, with the girls.
Gone are those days when we would do role-plays, as our dreams.
Gone are those days when our mother would be the judge of our silly fights in our home.
Gone are those days when me and my sibling would build a castle, with all our pillows and blankets.
Gone are those days when we would play in the streets, all the time, till our mother, drag us to our home.
Gone are my childhood days.
Gone are those days when my mother would nag at me, for not studying.
Gone are those days when my father would scold me, for not scoring good marks.
Gone are those days when I would go to school daily by grumbling, my tragic fate.
Gone are those days when I had to protect my non-veg foods, from my friends, like a treasure, during our lunch hours.
Gone are those days when me and friends would make silly comments at our teachers, behind their backs.
Gone are those days when me and my friends would scribble in our benches, to mark our identity.
Gone are those days when we threw our question papers, as our makeshift graduation cap, high in the air.
Gone are my school days.
Gone are those days when my monthly exams turned into semester ones.
Gone are those days when my study materials of books turned to e-books.
Gone are those days when me and my friends would do late night study sessions, one day before our exams.
Gone are those days when me and my friends would gossip in the cafeteria, for hours.
Gone are those days when me and my friends would stand together in the hallway, as our punishment, for being late to classes.
Gone are those days when me and my friends would talk about future, with fear in our eyes.
Gone are those days when we and my friends would spend our golden days, with tears and promises.
Gone are those days when my friends became my family.
Gone are my college days.
Gone are those days into moments.
Gone are those moments into bittersweet memories.
