Evil

Noted Nest

By Rishika Jain

Looking in the mirror, she was unable to recognize the truth.

“Trying to become someone else, what happened to you?

Calculative, selfish, reputation clouding your mind.”

She saw her reflection, losing her integrity and shine.

“Tsk tsk.” The reflection maliciously smiled.

“Do you think you could have survived in this wild;

With a positive attitude and care for the ungrateful?

They would have eaten you alive, you amicable fool.”

“Hurt, evil. Remember when you feared it the most?

Well, you became the best one out of them all.”
