ഒരു ഓണക്കുറിപ്പ് !! - A Note-Onam!!

ഇളവെയിൽ പുണരുന്ന നേരമാതൊടിയിലെ

വിടരുന്ന പൂവിതൾ നോക്കിനിൽക്കേ

അതിൽനിന്നുമുതിരുംസുഗന്ധമെന്നുള്ളിലെ

ഓർമ്മതൻ വാതിൽ തുറന്നുതന്നു

ഹിമബിന്ദുപുൽകുംമലരിൻ്റെകവിളുകൾ

അറിയാതെ നിറയും കുളിരുപോലെ

പൊന്നിളം കാറ്റു തഴുകുന്നനേരത്തു

പാതിമയങ്ങുന്നോരാമ്പൽ പോലെ

എന്നെമറന്നുഞാൻ നെഞ്ചിലേട്ടീടുന്നു

പോയൊരുകാലത്തിന്  പൊന്നോർമ്മകൾ

ആടിയും പാടിയും ഒന്നിച്ചുചേർന്നുനാം

പൂങ്കനവാക്കിയ പൊന്നോണനാൾ.  

                                        A note-Onam!!

At the time when daylight hugging

Looking at the blooming blossoms at field

Inside the smell that came from it

It opened the door of my sweet memories

Like cheeks of snowdrops

Unknowingly filled with warmth

When the golden wind blows

Like half -drowsy waterlilly

Forgetting me, I feel my chest

Golden memories of a bygone era

By dancing and singing together

We made flowered Onamdays!!
